Where to Get the Best Hotel in Annapolis

AnnapolisLocating a excellent hotel when you’re traveling in Annapolis isn’t typically straightforward, since there is so many options! Of course, you can pick something out of the same Annapolis travel guide which everybody and their cousin has checked for the past five years, but that doesn’t suggest you’re going to have a high-quality experience (the truth is, it may practically promise a dreadful one!). Alternatively, it is a good plan to do a little bit of researching, using your buddy the Internet. Locals will always be aware of the finest places to stay in their own city, just what the best accommodations are, and the good occasions to go to their favourite parts of the city. Nevertheless, you can’t be going up to everyone you run into in the airport in Annapolis, seeking their tips. So alternatively, we’ve made a quick set of our 3 preferred hotels in Annapolis for you. They are the ones we suggest to our family when they arrive to visit – but as we do not want you to imagine we’re merely being biased, listed here are the reviews from Yelp.com:

Good place as a more affordable alternative to other hotels in Old Town Annapolis, MD. It was in walking distance to Main street and the City Dock. The room was clean and spacious, however, the bed was a bit on the harder side. Great thing is they valet your car for $15 a day and you can leave it there even after you check out if you have more sightseeing to do. Also, they will shuttle you wherever you want and pick you up if you need a ride. The valets were all young men who were very nice and polite. No complaints!

In my mind, this is the only luxury hotel in Annapolis. The rooms are nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and devoted, and the valet doesn’t change your seat settings when parking your car. It’s also a short, pleasant walk through downtown colonial Annapolis to the Market Plaza/City Dock. While I think that an out-of-towner would get a better taste of Annapolis by staying in one of the more historic establishments, this is where a person who insists on a standard 4 star hotel will want to stay.

Great place for getaway, there is a free shuttle that takes you to Church Circle or all the way down to waterfront area. Nice bar with very friendly bartenders, great staff went out of way to help us select a restaurant for our anniversary night out. They printed out menus for us and slipped them under the door and then when we wanted to go downtown, they came to find us at the bar when the shuttle was ready to head out. Nice stay!
